If, for any reason, there is a problem with your order, we will contact you by e-mail at the address you have provided. We will offer you the option to either revise your order or to cancel it and have your card refunded. If we do not receive a response to our e-mail notifying you of a problem within 2 working days we will assume that you do not wish to proceed with your order and will refund your account.

Please note, for the sake of clarity, that the contract between us is made when the despatch note is sent to you from our or our service partners’ system.

d. Restrictions on our service

Age Limit
In the UK, it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 years to buy alcoholic beverages. We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or seems to be, under the age of 18. . All customers must confirm that they are at least 18 years old and agree to supply proof of age if we or our carriers ask for it. If you are buying an alcoholic gift, the recipient must also be at least 18 years old.

Availability of service
This service is available to customers in the United Kingdom only.

e. Cancellations
Because cellarman’s products are perishable you do not have the right to cancel the order once goods have been dispatched to you. If you do decide that you no longer want the goods you must return them, unopened and undamaged, to cellarman within 7 days of delivery of your order. You must pay the cost of making such a return. We will refund the cost of returned goods once we have checked that they are unopened and undamaged. We cannot refund the original delivery charge. This does not affect your rights under law.

f. Prices
Our prices are shown in pounds sterling and include Value Added Tax (currently 17.5%). Delivery charges are extra.

g. High Volume Orders
If you are ordering over 20 mini-casks (100 litres) in any one purchase, please contact us using the “Contact us” link so we can discuss special delivery options.

h. Delivery
cellarman uses a dedicated delivery service for alcoholic products. Each consignment is handled separately to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. If you notice a problem with the package upon delivery, please make sure the courier is aware of this.

To ensure that your beer is as fresh as possible we arrange for orders to be despatched on a twice-weekly basis. Any orders received by 10.00 (10am) on Monday will be despatched that day (assuming that your beer is ready). Orders received by 10.00 (10am) on Wednesday will be collected that day, again assuming the beer is ready. Our collection and delivery service make deliveries between 08.30 and 17.30 Monday to Friday.

 A person over 18 needs to sign for the delivery, so if you’re not going to be in between 08:30 and 17:30, you can simply add detailed instructions on where the parcel/s can be safely left, such as “leave with neighbour at No. 8” and our delivery service shall leave it with them. Our delivery service may ask for proof of age of the person signing for the parcel.

Where possible, we try to get all of our orders delivered on within two working days from despatch from the brewery, but we cannot guarantee this. However, late deliveries are rare.

i Delivery Charges
The delivery charges are based on a consignment system. One consignment can contain up to 3 mini-casks.

cellarman strives to provide the best possible value for premium hand crafted products. Delivery charges are set by our chosen service provider. We do not make a profit on such charges. Indeed, the delivery cost is subsidised by us.

The ‘checkout’ process will advise you of the amount of delivery charges payable on your order. For reference, current delivery charges set out below:

j. Changes to terms and conditions
From time to time we may need to change our terms and conditions or revise our charges. If there is a change to our terms and conditions we will you notify that such change has taken place.

k. Any problems?
You should receive your product in pristine condition. If there are any problems please contact us using the Contact us link and we will do our best to resolve matters.
